"ROMA ANCORA" FOR DJOKOVIC

NO RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE HERE AS AFTER 4-4 IN THE 1ST SET DJOKOVIC TAKES THE OLD MAN ROGER FEDERER TO ANOTHER LEVEL HIS FORTH ITALIAN OPEN TITLE IN STRAIGHT SETS 6-4,6-3.  "GRAZIE ANCORA ROMA" THANKS AGAIN ROME SURROUNDED BY A HEART HE WRITES ON THE TV CAMERA.  HE'S JUST TO ACCURATE, TO FLEXIBLE AND CAN HIT WINNERS OFF THE SERVE LIKE NOBODY'S MOMMA.  HE IS THE "GUMBY OF TENNIS WHERE YEARS AGO HE WAS SUCKING AIR TANKING MATCHES HE HAS JUST TURNED THIS THING AROUNDONLY LOSING TWICE THIS YEAR TO THE BIG 7'0 KARLOVIC AND TO FEDERER IN DUBAI THIS WINTER. HIS LOW CENTER OF GRAVITY SAYS IT ALL AS HIS ANTICIPATION LEVEL IS BEYOND NORMAL OF ANYONE THESE DAYS. THEY HAVE PLAYED 39 TIMES NOVAK EXTENDING HIS WINNING STREAK TO 22 MATCHES AND A HEAD TO HEAD RECORD OVER ROGER 21-18.

THE SERB BROKE THE SWISS PLAYER AT 5-4, CONVERTED THE 1ST BREAK WITH A SIZZLING FOREHAND WINNER.  NOVAK WON MOST OF THE LONG BASELINE RALLIES 30-12 AS ROGER NEVER SEEMED TO BE A TREAT LIKE IN DUBAI.  MAYBE THE YOUTH OF NOVAK AND THE DECISION NOT TO PLAY MADRID WAS A GOOD CHOICE AS NOVAK WAS STRONG AND CONFIDENT IN GREAT FORM.  CAN HE GET ANY BETTER?  THE LONGEST GAME CAME A BIT TO LATE IN THE 9TH GAME OF THE SECOND SET THAT LASTED 7:17 SECONDS, FEDERER SERVED 65% WHERE NOVAK SERVED 75%, LOSING ONLY 11 POINTS ON HIS SERVE.  THIS HE SAYS IS HIS SECOND BEST SEASON WINNING 5 TOURNAMENTS THUS FAR BEHIND 2011AND IS 11-0 ON CLAY THIS SEASON.  IS NOVAK THE NEW KING OF CLAY? DON'T EVER COUNT OUT RAFAEL NADAL!  LOOK OUT FOR A BATTLE OF THE FITTEST!  REMEMBER 3 OUT OF 5 AT THE GRAND SLAMS.  WHO WILL BE LEFT STANDING IN PARIS AT THE ROLAND GARROS?
