"THE ROAD TO ROLAND GARROS"

WITH A GREAT CLAY COURT SEASON ALMOST BEHIND US, WE HAVE NOT SEEN MUCH CHANGE BUT SOME NEW TALENT SHOWING UP TO THE BATTLE AND THE ZEST THAT THE USUAL SUSPECTS BRING TO THE TOURNAMENT IN PARIS. NADAL SEEDED 6 IS A DISSAPOINTMENT NOT BEING HIGHER BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT RAFA WILL SHOW UP STRONGER WITH THAT BEING SAID.  I GUESS THE OFFICIALS DO NOT THINK WINNING 9 GRANDSLAMS IS JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH.  IF YOU HAVE NOT WON A SPECIFIC SLAM SHOULD SOMEONE ELSE GET THE NOD TO BE SEEDED BETTER BECAUSE OF THE LAST 12 MONTHS? SOME FLEXIBILITY SHOULD BE GIVEN IF THEIR IS SOMEONE SUPERIOR IN A SENSE WHERE HE HAS ACHEIVED RESULTS CONSISTENTLY.  THE BULL WILL JUST GET HEAVIER WITH THE TOPSPIN AND HE WILL STEAL THE SHOW IN FRANCE AS HE IS THE KING OF CLAY BY FAR.  HE COULD MEET NOVAK IN THE QUARTERS IF THEY STAY ON COURSE.   NOVAK JUST OFF WINS IN ITALY & MONTE CARLO, LOOKS SUPERB AND 7 WELL.  FEDERER HAS THE EASY DRAW IF HE DOES NOT FUMBLE, THESE THINGS DO HAPPEN IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL.  THE OTHER GUYS ARE HUNGRY TO AND AE LOOKING FOR A FEW SCALPS TO TAKE WITH THEM. HE ALSO WON ON CLAY IN ISTANBUL AND IS A THREAT!

ANDY MURRAY PULLED OUT OF ITALY BUT WON THE BMW IN MUNICH, GERMANY
& BARCELONA IS REALLY PLAYING CONFIDENT AND LOOKS BUFF! NOT WINDED LIKE A FEW MONTHS AGO.  MAURESMO IS GETTING THE BEST OUT OF HIM.   BUT REMEMBER ANDY'S MOTHER COACHED HIM AS A JUNIOR!
AMEILIE IS A GAND SLAM WINNER SHE CAN GET INTO HIS HEAD!  AH!
NISHIKORI A WINNER IN BARCELONA BACK TO BACK IS ITCHING TO BRING HOME THE TROPHY BACK TO JAPAN.  LOTS OF JAPANESE PLAYING COULD HELP HIM WITH A FEW UPSETS OF THEIR OWN CAN OPEN UP THE DOORS FOR KEI.

LOOK OUT FOR GARCIA LOPEZ, GRIGOR DIMITROV, DAVID FERRER, BATISTA AGUT, MILOS RAONIC, AMERICANS JACK SOCK, STEVE JOHNSON, FRENCHMEN GAEL MONFILS AND JO-WILFRIED TSONGA COULD SET MATTERS STRAIGHT.  COULDRALLY TO BE THE FIRST FRENCH TO WIN SINCE YANNICK NOAH IN 1983.

ON THE LADIES SIDE THE POWER GIRLS SERENA WILLIAMS WAS KNOCKED OUT IN THE 1ST ROUND LAST YEAR BY GARBINE MUGURUZA LOOKS TO REDEEM HERSELF AND WINNING HER 3RD CUP.  MARIA PLAYING HER BEST TENNIS THESE DAYS LOOKS DETERMINED AS SHE WON LAST WEEK IN ITALY IS HAVING A FANTASTIC YEAR HOPES TO GO BACK TO BACK AT THE FRENCH OPEN. SIMONA HALEP FROM ROMANIA WON IN INDIAN WELLS AND HAS AN EXPLOSIVE GAME SHE WENT TO THE SIMI'S IN ITALY WHERE SHE LOSS TO SUAREZ NAVARRO BUT SHOWS A RESILIANCE AND POISE ON CLAY.  VICTORIA AZARENKA HAS STRUGGLED OF LATE WITH THAT NAGGING FOOT INJURY IS SLOWLY CLIMBING BACK. WENT TO THE QUARTERS IN ROME RADY TO PUT THE PEDDLE TO THE METAL IN PARIS.

LOOK OUT FOR  EUGENIE BOUCHARD, PETRA KVITOVA,ANNA  IVANOVIC, NAVARRO AND CAROLINE WOZNIACKI, SLOANE STEPHENS, SARA IRANI,  TO MAKE SOME UPSETS!
