SERENA ROARS IN PARIS WITH COMEBACK WIN!

NO EASY STREET FOR THE 2 TIME FRENCH OPEN CHAMP! EVERY MACH IS A NEW MATCH AND EVERY DAY IS A NEW DAY.  VICTORIA AZARENKA HAD A 1 SET LEAD 6-4 AND A SECOND SET LEAD  OF 4-2 BUT COULD NOT GET THE JOB DONE. A CONTROVERSIAL CALL REPLAYED BY A BAD CALL BY THE UMPIRE HAD THE 2 PLAYERS FUEDING, GESTURES REALLY INTENSIFIED THE SITUATION. NO REPLAY AT ROLAND GARROS AS IN THE OTHER SLAMS.  MAYBE THIS IS SOMETHING THEY WILL CONSIDER IN THE FUTURE. THE TWO REGROUPED AZARENKA TOOK A BATHROOM BREAK AND CAME BACK STORMING TO AGAIN A 2-0 LEAD IN THE 3RD SET.  SERENA WOULD NOT BE DENIED THOUGH ONLY HITTING 21 WINNERS COMPARED TO VICTORIA'S 41. WILLIAMS HAS DEFEATED AZARENKA OVERALL 17 OUT OF THEIR LAST 20 MATCHES WHERE MOST RECENT VICTORIA CHOKED IN MADRID WHERE SHE DOUBLE FAULTED 3 TIMES SERVING FOR THE MATCH.
SERENA WON 6 GAMES IN A ROW TO WIN THE BATTLE.  AFTER THE MATCH VICTORIA STATED:"SE REALLY STEPPED IT UP".  THE 27TH AZARENKA - SEEDED PLAYER SAID. "NOBODY IS PROBALY HARDER...FOR ME TO PLAY AGAINST."
THEY LOOKED COLORFUL BOTH WEARING "NIKE LAVENDER" SERENA LIKED HER SHORTS SO VICTORIA GAVE THEM TO HER, STILL FRIENDS OFF THE COURT BUT SERENA WON THE BATTLE ON THE COURT 3-6, 6-4, 6-2.  NEXT THE 40TH RANKED SLOANE STEPHENS WHO BEAT SERENA IN THE SEMI'S AT THE AUSTRALIAN OPEN.
SLOANE LOOKS CONFIDENT ND COMING INTO HER OWN.  EXPECT A GREAT MATCH.
