COCO CHEWS UP SAFAROVA, KEYS MOWS DOWN GOVORTSOVA, BACSINSZKY DUSTS NICULESCU, AZARENKA FINISHES BENCIC

COCO VANDEWEGHE RISING TO THE TOP UPSETTING FRENCH OPEN FINALIST LUCIE SAFAROVA IN 2 SUDDEN DEATH TIE BREAKS 7-6(1), 7-6(4),  THOUGH SHE THOUGHT SHE PLAYED BAD SHE DID WELL ENOUGH TO UPEND THE LEFTY WHO IS VYING FOR ANOTHER GRAND SLAM WOMEN'S DOUBLES TITLE WITH BETHANY MADDOX-SANDS.  THEY HAVE WON THE AUSTRALIAN AND THE FRENCH OPEN TOGETHER.  COCO WAS ON THE WINNING SIDE WITH THE LONGER RALLIES AS THIS GAVE HER CONFIDENCE AS SHE DEFEATED KAROLINA PLISKOVA AND BAGGELED SAMANTHA STOSUR 6-0 IN THE SECOND SET.  BIG SERVE, BIG GAME, NICE SHOT SELECTION, VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF HER LIFE!

MADISON KEYS HAS DEVELOPED INTO A POWERHOUSE AS SHE SHOWED GERMAN BORN MOTHER OF ONE CHILD OLGA GOVORTSOVA THE SHOWERS 3-6, 6-4, 6-1.  STARTING OFF SLUGGISH IN THE 1ST SET SENT CHILLS THROUGH HER BODY BUT SETTLED INTO THE MATCH ENDING THE RUN OF THE QUALIFIER HITTING 33 WINNERS NEVER LOSING SERVE  INTO HER 2ND WEEK OF A SLAM FOR THE SECOND TIME. THE MENTAL AFFECTS ALL PLAYERS AND MADISON HAS BEEN HERE BEFORE AND I CAN SEE HER REPLACING HER CHILDHOOD IDOL SERENA WILLIAMS IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE.  SHE HAS LONG LANKY STROKES AND CAN PUMP THE SERVE!  SHE AND VANDEWEGHE HAVE GREAT COAHCES TO DAVENPORT AND EVERT!  YOU JUST CAN'T BEAT THAT!

TIMEA BACSINSZKY IS LOOKING BRIGHT AFTER 2 YEARS AWAY FROM THE GAME IS BLOWING AWAY EVERYBODY WITH 48 WINS TO A RANKING OF 15 IN THE WORLD SHE WORKED HARD TO GET HERE AS INJURIES ALMOST STOPPED HER PLAYING THE GAME.  TAKING ON ANY JOB IN THE HOTEL INDUSTRY HOTEL MANAGEMENT WHERE SHE HUMBLY REALIZES THAT THOSE CLEANING ROOMS, SCRUBBING PLATES GIVES YOU SOME PERSPECTIVE. SHE WORKED ON HER MENTAL SIDE WHICH HELPED OUT HER COMPETITIVE BLOOD BECAUSE YOU CANNOT WIN EVERY DAY AND YOU CANNOT WIN EVERY POINT!  TODAY SHE  DID WHEN SHE DUSTED  MONICA NICULESU COMING FROM BEHIND 1-6, 7-5, 6-2.  THESE MATCHES RELIEVE STRESS SHE SAYS AND CALM HER AT THE IMPORTANT MOMENTS. "I HAD FAITH IN MYSELF AND I WAS BELIEVING THAT I COULD TURN THE MATCH AROUND."

VICTORIA AZARENKA MOVED ON TO THE QUARTER FINALS AGAINST 18 YEAR OLD BELINDA BENCIC OF SWITZERLAND 6-2, 6-3 TO ROUND OUT THE QUARTERS AND WILL MEET SERENA WILLIAMS WHERE SHE LOST IN 3 SETS HAVING HAD A TRIPLE MATCH POINT AT THE FRENCH OPEN IN THE THIRD ROUND.  GREAT QUARTER ACTION STAY TUNED!
