JANKOVIC DIGS IN THE GRASS PULLS OUT UPSET

FORMER NUMBER ONE PLAYER JELENA JANKOVIC HAD LOST TO THE REIGNING WIMBLEDON CHAMP PETRA KVITOVA IN ROME  AND WAS NOT EXPECTING MUCH AS SHE WAS DOWN A SET AND TRAILING 3-1.  THE 28TH SEED MUSTERED UP CONFIDENCE STAYED THE COURSE, FOCUSED PLAYED HER DOMINEERING GAME OF OLD AND PULLED A FEW OLD SCHOOL RABBITS OUT OF HER BAG TO TAKE DOWN THE 2 TIME WIMBLEDON CHAMPION 3-6, 7-5, 6-4.  SHE STATED THAT THIS WAS HER BIGGEST GRAND SLAM VICTORY EVER. KVITOVA NOTICED THE CHANGE OF PLAY AS JELENA BECAME MORE AGGRESSIVE AND HAD REALLY NO ANSWERS AS HER SERVE FELL APART THE FEET DON'T MOVE AND EVERY POINT YOU SEEM TO GO BACKWARD NOT FORWARD.  WITH THE MOMENTUM SWING YOU MAY FIGHT BUT THE SHOTS THAT WON EARLY IN THE MATCH JUST DO NOT SEEM TO COME TOGEHTER. ON TOP OF THAT YOU ARE AT WIMBLEDON DEFENDING CHAMPION YOU ARE EXPECTED TO WIN.  DOUBTS COME INTO PLAY THEN IT'S OVER JUST LIKE THAT.  SO GOING INTO THE ROUND OF 16 SHE MAY END UP PLAYING IN THE FINAL AGAINST SERENA IF SHE HOLDS HER OWN. SHE HAS LOTS OF EXPERIENCE TO PULL BACK ON SO DON'T COUNT HER OUT.
