MUGURUZA HAMMERS BACSINSZKY,SERENA ESCAPES AZARENKA, RADWANSKA SNEAKS BY KEYS, SHARAPOVA TO FOCUSED FOR CO CO

GARBINE MUGURUZA SPAINS FIRST REPRESENTATIVE TO THE SEMI-FINALS AT WIMBLEDON IN 18 YEARS SINCE ARANTXA SANCHEZ GOT BIG GAME!
GARBINE HAS A LOT OF WEAPONS LIKE THE BACKHAND SHE HAMMERED TO BREAK IN A DECISIVE FIRST SET 7-5. REMEMBER SHE TOOK DOWN SERENA AT THE FRENCH LAST YEAR AND HAS NOT LOOKED BACK.  HER GAME IS ELITE AND SHE PLAYS WITH CONFIDENCE AND STYLE. TIMEA BACSINSZKY IS NO SLOUGHT.
SHE CAME BACK INTO TENNIS AFTER 2 YEARS AWAY TRYING DIFFERENT JOBS IN HOTEL MANAGEMENT TAKING IT DAY BY DAY AND HAS COME BACK WITH A VENGANCE AND HER RANKING WILL SHOW AFTER THIS TOURNAMENT.  THE DEFENSE OF MUGURUKEZA MADE THE DIFFERENCE HERE AS TIMEA TRIED TO APPLY THE CHOKE HOLD ON GARBINE'S GAME.  "DID NOT WORK." MUGURUZA PLAYED THE ODDS KEPT HITTING STRONG FROM BOTH WINGS WITH THE HAMMER AND THE GRACE OF A FUTURE CHAMPION SHE HELD ON 7-5, 6-3.  NEXT THE CRAFTY AGNIESZKA RADWANSKA.

SERENA WILLIAMS AND VICTORIA AZARENKA AT IT AGAIN AT THE ALL ENGLAND CLUB WHERE THESE TWO PREPARED FOR BATTLE THIS TIME ON GRASS.  AGAIN SERENA ESCAPES WITH ANOTHER EPIC COMEBACK WITH THE SOUND OF THESE LADIES CRUSHING THE BALL WITH DEPTH, ACCURACY, AND POWER.  THEY SEEM TO BRING THE BEST OUT OF EACH OTHER AS VENKA TOOK THE FIRST SET 6-3.  WITH TOTAL CONTROL THE 23RD SEED CAME OUT STROKING AND SWINGING WAILING THE BACKHAND LEAVING SERENA TO COME UP WITH A NEW GAME PLAN MAYBE?  AT 2-2 IN VENKA THE ALMOST BROKE WILLIAMS AND THINGS SEEMED TO TURN AROUND AS PRESSURE MOUNTED SERENA RAN OFF SEVEN STRAIGHT GAMES TO TAKE THE 2ND SET 6-2 AND HAD A COMMANDING 3-0 LEAD IN THE 3RD.  I NOTICED HOW CALM SHE WAS COMPARED TO THE HEATHER WATSON MATCH.  THESE TWO PLAYERS KNOW EACH OTHERS GAME, VICTORIA AND SERENA.  BUT WITH HEATHER SHE HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS COMING OR HOW TO REACT.  WITH VICTORIA THEIR HISTORY PLAYS AN IMPORTANT PART TO THIS RIVALRY .  IT'S EXCITING AS BOTH PLAYERS LEAVE NOTHING IN THE LOCKER ROOM THEY "BRING IT" ON THE COURT WITH SCREAMS, FIST PUMPS AND EMOTION. SERENA SEEMED POISED NOT GETTING RAPPED UP INTO EVERY MOMENT SHE PACED HERSELF AND BELIEVED THAT SHE COULD GET THE JOB DONE.   YOU CAN ONLY EXPECT THE BEST.  SERENA IS A PURE ESCAPE ARTIST PROBALY GOING DOWN AS THE BEST IN HISTORY A LEGEND IN THE MAKING. SHE QUOTED AFTER THE MATCH: "SHE'S A REALLY NICE GIRL. I REALLY ADMIRE HER BECAUSE SHE'S SO INTENSE ON THE COURT, BUT THE SECOND SHE COMES OFF THE COURT, SHE'S SO DIFFERENT.  IT'S REALLY INTERESTING TO SEE. IT'S SUPER RESPECTFUL."

THEY PUSHED EACH OTHER TO THE BRINK AS AZARENKA DID AGAIN WITH SERENA WINNING 3-6, 6-2, 6-3. THEY SMILED AND HUGGED AT THE END AS THEY GAVE THE CROWD SOMETHING AMAZING!  THE INVINCIBLE MARIA SHARAPOVA IS NEXT AS SHE TRIES TO WIN HER THIRD MATCH AGAINST SERENA IN 20 MATCHES WHERE WILLIAMS HEAD2HEAD 17-2.

MADISON KEYS ENJOYING HER SECOND GRAND SLAM QUARTER-FINALS THIS TIME AT WIMBLEDON SUCCUMBED TO THE COMEBACK PLAYER OF THE YEAR SO FAR.  AGNIESZKA RADWANSKA WHO HAS NOT BEEN TO A SEMIFINALS SINCE THE AUSTRALIAN OPEN 18 MONTHS AGO WAS BACK TO HER CRAFTY WAYS. HER STYLE IS ONE LIKE MARTINA HINGIS WHO MASTERED THE COURTS NOT WITH  POWER BUT WITH CRAFTY ANGLES, MOVEMENT AND DIFFERENT PACES OF THE BALL, CONTROL AND PLACEMENT.  WITH MADISONS POWERFUL ATTACKING STYLE RADWANSKA TOOK CARE OF BUSINESS FROM THE BACK OF THE COURT
FORCING KEY TO MAKE 40 UNFORCED ERRORS.  RADWANSKA WENT UP 5-3 IN THE 3RD SET BREAKING KEYS AS SHE ALLOWED A SHOT TO LAND IN, THEN DOUBLE FAULTING AND BLEW A FOREHAND IN THE NET.  THE OUTCOME 7-6(3),
3-6, 6-3.  AGNEISZKA NOW FACES ANOTHER POWER PLAYER GARBINE MUGURUZA.

MARIA SHARAPOVA VYING TO GET TO ANOTHER WIMBLEDON FINAL WHERE SHE HAS NOT WON SINCE BEATING SERENA HERE IN 2004 AT 17 YEARS OF AGE IS GETTING EVER SO CLOSE AS SHE MET THE POWERFUL CO CO VANDEWEGHE IN AN EXCITING THRILLER ON THE CENTRE COURT.  CO CO TOOK OUT 3 SEEDS INCLUDING FRENCH OPEN FINALIST 6TH SEED LUCIE SAFAROVA.
CO CO MANAGED TO TAKE THE 2ND SET TIE BREAK BUT THE FOCUSED MARIA WAS NOT TO SUCCUMB ON THIS DAY THE 4TH SEED GOT HER MOJO BACK WINNING 3 GAMES IN A ROW TO AFTER COMING BACK FROM 0-2 IN THE 3RD SET TO TAKE DOWN VANDEWEGHE IN 2:45 MINUTES, 6-3, 6-7(3), 6-2. SHE QUOTES AFTER THE MATCH: "TODAY, SERVING FOR THE SECOND SET I COULD HAVE MADE IT EASIER. IT WENT TO THE THIRD, BUT I STILL GOT THE JOB DONE.  I HAVE TO BE PLEASED WITH THAT . THAT I'M IN THE SEMIFINALS AGAIN AFTER SO MANY YEARS."  HER FIRST SINCE FALLING IN THE FINAL AGAINST PETRA KVITOVA  IN 2011. NEXT HERE WE GO AGAIN SERENA WILLIAMS EVERYTHING IS ON THE LINE NERVES WILL BE DISPLAYED, EMOTIONS WILL BE FLYING, HAMMER TIME IT WILL BE FOR THESE LADIES THOUGH SERENA HAS THE EDGE 17-2 OVERALL, BUT SHARAPOVA IS NOT THINKING OF THE PAST THE WANTS TO GET HER NAME BACK ON THAT TROPHY TO SHOW HER FUTURE CHILDREN.  YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT AND YOU BETTER BRING YOUR POPCORN!
