DOMINIC TERMINATES THE DOMINATOR DJOKOVIC

ARE THE GUARDS CHANGING SLOWLY IN MEN'S TENNIS?  SEEMS LIKE SO.  THIS DOMINIC THIEM IS A QUICK LEARNER.  AFTER LOSING TO NOVAK DJOKOVIC IN ROME 6-1, 6-0 MOST PLAYERS HANG IT UP AND SAY "THIS GUY AGAIN"! NOVAK DJOKOVIC OH NO!!! GOING THROUGH NADAL THEN DJOKOVIC I MUST SAY IS A TOUGH FEAT.  THIS IS GRAND SLAM TENNIS THOUGH AND TO BE CONSIDERED THE BEST YOU MUST BEAT THE BEST.  ON DAY 11 AT THE END OF THE CLAY COURT SEASON ROLAND GARROS DOMINIC THIEM SHOWED UP BIG TIME DEFEATING LAST YEARS DEFENDING CHAMPION 7-6(5), 6-3, 6-0.  WITH NO AGASSI IN NOVAK'S CORNER THIEM TOOK CHARGE WITH LIGHTENING FOREHANDS AND ONE HANDED BACKHANDS FROM EVERY PART OF THE COURT.  THIS TIME HE TOOK NO PRISONERS.  LOOKING TO SET UP THE FOREHAND HE PLAYED WITH SO MUCH CONFIDENCE.  NOT EVEN REMEMBERING HE LOST TO A MAN WHO HAS HELD ALL FOUR GRAND SLAMS.  YOU HAVE TO PLAY THIS WAY LEARN FROM YOUR PASS AND KNOCK THE DUST THE RUST, AND AND THE SLUSH OFF YOUR FEET AND KEEP MOVING.  THE BALLS THAT NOVAK SLIDES AND STRETCH FOR HE SEEMED TO GIVE UP.  NOT HIS USUAL GUMBY LIKE FASHION WHERE HE CREATES SHOTS WITH THE NO GIVE UP ATTITUDE.  IT'S AS IF HE SAID I'LL GET THE NEXT POINT.   THERE WERE NONE! HE CAME FROM A 2-4 DEFICIT, SAVED 2 SET POINTS AT 4-5, 15-40 TO WIN THE FIRST SET IN ONE HOUR AND SIXTEEN MINUTES.  "NOVAK SAID THAT THE MATCH WAS OVER IN THE FIRST SET". THAT STATEMENT IS NOT DJOKOVIC-ISH! THE PREMIERE PLAYER WITH THE NERVES OF GRAPHITE JUST NEEDS A BREAK!  IT WORKED FOR NADAL AND FEDERER IT COULD WORK FOR YOU NOVAK.
AGASSI MAY BE THE ANSWER BUT NOT NOW!  YOU NEED REST, SOME TIME TO ENJOY LIFE, RELAX GET AWAY AND COME BACK FRESH!  YOU CAN'T BLAME IT ON ANYONE.  YOUR MIND AND BODY NEEDS A BRAKE DUDE!  YOU CAN COMEBACK!  GO AND SPEND SOME MONEY OR LAY ON THE BEACH!  TENNIS NEEDS YOU! OH AND RE-HIRE THOSE GUYS YOU FIRED.  THEY NEED A CHECK TOO. THEY ARE THE ONES THAT HELPED MADE YOU GREAT!  LOL.

DOMINIC IS A SMART PLAYER THE LEADER OF THE NEXT GEN IS HERE AND PROBALY WILL WIN A SLAM SOON IF NOT THE FRENCH OPEN.  IF HE CAN CONTINUE HITTING SERVES AT 140 MPH, AND AVG 38 WINNERS OPEN UP THE COURT AND CAN WITHSTAND THE BARRAGE OF SHOTMAKING FROM RAFAEL NADAL THEN WE MAY HAVE OUR NEXT GRAND SLAM FINALIST.  WE HAVE TO REMEMBER THOUGH RAFA'S QUARTER FINAL'S MATCH WAS SHORTENED BY HIS FELLOW SPANIARD PABLO CARRENO BUSTA WITH AN ABDOMINAL INJURY RETIRING AFTER 51 MINUTES 6-2, 2-0. AND HE HAS LOST JUST OVER 24 GAMES IN 5 MATCHES SO HE'S RESTED.  HAD A WEEK OFF TO PREPARE FOR THE FRENCH AND MORE TIME TO CHECK OUT THE UP AND CHARGING DOMINIC THIEM. THE AUSTRIAN'S CHANCES ARE GOOD BUT, RAFA IS GOING FOR HIS 10TH FRENCH!  CAN THIEM TERMINATE THIS GLADIATOR? THEY HAVE PLAYED 5 TIMES IN SIX WEEKS.  SO A NEW RIVALRY IS IN THE MAKING.  WILL DOMINIC DOMINATE THE NINE-TIME AGAIN OR WILL NADAL BULLY THE NEW KID ON THE BLOCK? WE WILL SEE ON FRIDAY?

It could be described as the ultimate stamp of approval to be commemorated on the surface of countless letters sent across the country every day. Every one of us will have our own concept of the kind of individual who merits the eternity of showing up on a postage stamp.
